The food is exceptional. The staff is also extremely friendly. This place serves some of the best grits I’ve had! I also cannot recommend the dessert menu enough. The bourbon bread pudding and peanut butter pie were our favorites! We had stopped in with a very large party and had a phenomenal experience. Many thanks to the chef and staff for working around our hectic schedule with half of our party arriving late!

Me and my wife were in town while she traveled for work. We ate here the first night and had a wonderful meal! She ordered the Chicken and Andouille Sausage really loved it, I ordered the Fried Shrimp Plate and was really impressed as well. We tried other places around town but nothing compared to the flavor and the presentation of the food at this restaurant. If you try this place you will love it! Thank you for a great meal!

We have lived here for 20 years, so have visited most dinners, but had dinner at Eat Americana this week. It was great! J had the meatloaf which was a generous portion and delicious along with mash potatoes and perfect green beans. My wife had the burger that was juicy as if it was off the backyard grill for a grill master. Fries also were excellent and the ice tea was perfection. James the chef/owner was really friendly. Wasn’t fancy but who cares if the food is good…you won’t be disappointed. Fried chicken or shrimp next visit.

I gave Eating Americana a try for lunch, had the fried shrimp hoagie. Shrimp were plump and perfectly done. Clean place with friendly staff. I will be back.

Found this little Gem through yelp while visiting GA. I had the Chicken and Andouille pasta with an incredibly delicious housemade sauce. We were lucky enough to chat with the Chef, Chef James ( I heard Jeff), who turns out to have an extensive culinary background as the executive chef for brand name restaurants in Atlanta. He makes ALL of his food. If you appreciate food and its story, you'll appreciate this place. We weren't able to make time for a second visit for brunch, but we hope you do! P.S. Make room for dessert.
