Overpriced, and unfriendly service. fried Haddock tasted extremely fishy and fresh oil would have been better. “Casual fine dining” but the food was subpar.
Stupid name but really good food. We’ve eaten here at least four times and everything we’ve had has been excellent. Had takeout and dine in and ordering and service was always quick and friendly even in the height of tourist season. Try the dip platter- excellent
We stopped for a drink after dinner. Everyone was defy friendly. Drinks were good. We plan to stop back for dinner before we go home in a few days.
Excellant pita sandwiches. Wonderful presentation! Really fresh vegetables Unfortunately the waiter was gruff and curt . Didn't care for his dermier at all. Seems to be increasingly typical in this tourist destination of MDI and Acadia . So sad
Nice people, great food. Very nice atmosphere.
Very good food, and a great food selection. Very nice place.
I'm not rich by any means, yet I have traveled and eaten all around the country. From fast food to fine dining and everything in between. Hands down, I had the best meal I've ever eaten at Eat-A-Pita last night. This establishment has it all; phenomenal food, deserts, and atmosphere. There's also a great wine selection among beers and cocktails. I highly recommend this restaurant. You will be absolutely delighted.
Please don't let dogs in the outside seating or limit to one area. Had to listen to some woman gush with her Mr Chippy all lunch and he barked very loudly at everything. At one point the woman hopped from her seat to reach her hand in his mouth to see what he was eating. Listening to him gag and bark was just too much. Especially with the expensive menu I'd expect a more peaceful lunch. Otherwise, the place had great atmosphere and the food was delicious. The dessrts were worth it and would go back just for dessert even.
Great food, fast pleasant service. To bad they aren't open in the winter
Very cute shop, greeted promptly by both hostess and barista. Order was made in quoted time. I understand it is fresh/local ingredients but for this penny saver it is very expensive and a quick let down. Ordered 1 Cuban, 1 BLT Pita and 1 frozen honey lemonade, out the door was just over $30. These do not come with chips or a pickle. Swiss lovers will enjoy the Cuban, but for myself and husband we were unable to get past the first bite. The BLT Pita fell short with only 2 strips of bacon. For an $8 pita ask for extra bacon you’ll be glad you did. Frozen lemonade was very refreshing and tart, perfect for a refreshing summer drink.
