Solid 2/5 6.95 per med plate, 7.95 per large plate, 1.50 for tea. Their egg tart is pretty good but non-traditional,, most everything else tasted overly generic or stale. Steer clear of most of the other deserts (mango pudding is mid, rest are horrible)
A little pricey Dim Sum with good food quality. Weekend is crowded, advice to come early before the crowd
Decent food but 2 of the dishes we ordered were not available, however we were not informed until after all the other food had arrived and we were still missing the dishes. No offer for a discounted dish or dessert. Parking: Limited shared meter parking
East Ocean Seafood Restaurant in Alameda CA is a wonderful restaurant with good services. It's one of our family 's favorite restaurants. David and his staff are very friendly and helpful. They will try to accommodate your needs as much as possible.
It's one of the most authentic Cantonese cuisine in the US. I have been there a few times six years ago. The food was not impressive and their seats space was clumsy. Now they renovated it. Now it appears to be more spacious and the setting is more comfortable. Most importantly Two dishes which I ordered tasted very close to those in Guangzhou or Hong Kong. Their customer service was superb. In addition, they don't demand customers to pay any tips so that I feel much more comfortable to pay tips to them and revisit them more times. Nowadays some restaurants ridiculously demand customers for at least 18% tips regardless of their good or bad service .
