I have lived in the area since 1998. The place changed hands and cleaned-up/updated a few years back. Always a friendly crowd with a good drink selection. Pro Tip: the outlets at the bar have USB ports and they carry charging cords behind the bar.

Great place - often book punk bands and support Punk Rock Saves Lives. I think they often have jam band hippie music. Not my style - but hey there's a massive crowd for it in Denver, so more power to them. This is everything you would want in a bar in the part of Colfax that's still Colfax. Bartender is super cool, and plenty of spots if you want your own space. My only negative is that I wish I could go there more!

Extremely welcoming bartenders, great dive bar atmosphere, trivia and karaoke are offered here. A must visit bar on Colfax and in Denver!
