We went for a late lunch and many items were cold. The sushi was ok. The best advice I can give is to choose a plate worth of items and hand them off for fresh & hot hibachi! Two for lunch with tip is @$35.
This place is so over priced for the food to be so terrible. Came here a few months ago for the first time and thought it may have been the time of day (it was about 7pm) that affected the food quality. After giving this place a second chance and coming right at 5, it’s safe to say the food is just awful all the time. Poor selection and most of what we did eat did not taste good at all, even though they were bringing out fresh food the entire time. $75 (before tip) for myself, my husband, and my 5 and 7 year old to eat here for a weekday dinner. Find somewhere else to eat if you get a Chinese craving….
OMG, how Cenla recovers!! This is a mighty fine eatin place!!!!! Everytime!!!! Wheelchair accessibility: Right on the corner!
Kinda hard to rate the service and atmosphere in a Chinese buffet, but it's getting pretty difficult to find good ones anymore. This isn't the best Chinese restaurant I've ever been in, but the food was very good. I"d say that it's the best I've found in CENLA so far.
Seemed nice enough by the looks of it and staff was pleasant but the food was barely palatable. A lot of the meat was cold and there was an oddly bad tast like bad oil or something.
Tonight was our first time trying East Asia and it was mediocre. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. It was just meh. We had high hopes because other reviews spoke so well of the place but for us it just fell very flat. The order was for takeout and most of the food was cold when we got it home. We live very nearby so the drive is less than 5 mins. Something just felt lacking in the flavors. I was completely underwhelmed by pretty much everything. We ordered Shrimp Fried Rice, Beef Lo Mein, Orange Chicken, steamed Dumplings, Egg Rolls, house special soup, and a California roll. The dumplings were the best part of the meal but there are better dumplings in town. All in all the only way to describe the meal was meh.
