In a perfect world, a restaurant staff would care why you don't intend to return again. At this popular establishment, perhaps they won't. It was not busy at lunchtime today. I was seated and had my order taken by a pleasant server in a reasonable time frame. The food came also fairly quickly, and everything was as ordered. The iced tea tasted terrible, and was probably not brewed recently. So what's the problem, you ask? At that point all contact with the staff ceased. There were plenty of team members on hand, but they just weren't focused on the customers. Not once did anyone follow-up on my satisfaction level. A party of regulars came in and my server couldn't be torn away from them for the rest of my visit. I had to ask someone else for my check. But I observed all around that the workers had no interest in interacting with their customers, their guests, the people who actually pay them to be there. It could be a great place. The decor is cheerful. It could be the perfect neighborhood brunch stop. But the attitude of the staff and atmosphere is a turnoff, impersonal and disinterested. There are lots of good breakfast spots in the area. This one needs to up its service game to be in the front. This was my second visit, and I don't think I will give it another chance.
