Had a reservation for all of our family and booked it a week in advance. I also called on the day to confirm it. Although they said everything is ok, we had to wait more than half an hour. Food is good, but service is so poor that it really impacted our experience and ruined our family night

Sadly the quality of this branch has gone downhill recently. We just went there for brunch, and I ordered a chorizo hash which comes with two poached eggs. When I cut the eggs open, they were both overcooked to the point of having completely hardened dried yolks. I waited for our waiter to come to our desk to tell them about the issue, but they didn’t come to the desk again until almost the end of the meal. This is despite the fact that the restaurant was more than half empty at that time. I told the waiter about the issue and they said they’d let the kitchen know. We waited for a long time after we were done eating, and finally the waiter came back just to give us the check. I asked whether they told the kitchen about the issue, and the response was ”yeaaah, well maybe one of them was a little bit more cooked. Yeaaah…”. There’s probably a good reason why the place was half empty during their happy hour brunch time, but at least admitting the order was messed up should not be too much to expect from a brand like Earls. I go to the branch in Yaletown way more often, and I’ve never had issues like this. Even when there is something wrong with the order in that branch, the management always handles it much better than this.

Brought my friend for their first Earls experience and our server Andi was amazing! Always on top of our drinks and got our food to us super quick! Great service :)
