Food was freshly made, hand breaded mushrooms, baked potato had fresh fried bacon, not bacon bits, steak fingers are not frozen, everything tasted homemade and fresh, and delicious.

First time to stop and it won’t be the last! Chicken fried steak and chopped hamburger steak were both excellent. Natalie was a fantastic server

Place is clean but charged 2 bucks extra for fries or onion rings, I chose onion rings…. Gave me 6 onion rings. Y’all need consider Texas folk now, at least when you upcharge for something give a little. Waitress plum embarrassed by y’all’s stinginess. Clean restaurant with country theme . Houston the eagle has landed!!!! Noticed your reply, The fries where a upcharge as well!!! I could go on while you try to justify how breaded your onion rings are, nothing special bout your onion ring, just being cheap to pay for your big billboards on the I-35. Bottom line , Did you come from Cali???? Or Northeast to bring this practice here?????

Unexpected gem of IH35 exit 315 in Eddy, TX. Modern, clean, yet local rustic with great food & friendly staff!

Went for a long drive. Searched for places to eat and found this place. They have interesting stuff inside the restaurant. Not sure if it was a historical place but felt like one. They are very friendly and foods good too.

Once we arrived we had to stand at the door for about 10 minutes waiting to be seated which normally wouldn't be all that big a deal but there isn't much room there and people had to move around us to get out and since the dining room was pretty small we felt a bit like a spectacle just standing there. Biggest problem was that they actually cleaned and wiped a table but didn't say anything to us and eventually a thin, short blond haired girl who looked like she had been crying told us to have a seat at the cleaned table. Our waitress was kind enough and accommodating, but forgot to bring our drinks, claimed she would bring them immediately and didn't, we got tea that tasted more like tea flavored water than tea. I got the chopped steak and baked potato, which I actually enjoyed, but my wife was not a fan of her patty melt and cold fries. My daughter enjoyed her pizza. The food wait was a little on the long side considering it was not real busy, but all in all the experience was about average which is a bit of a shame as I really wanted to like it more. We travel through Eddy frequently back and forth to the inlaws and would have made it more of a place to go had it been better.

This is a quaint little place to eat. Food is good and service is great.

They brag about having the best chicken fried steak in the state and theirs just might be!

Great food, good prices, fast and friendly service. Right off the freeway on our way back home. Glad we stopped!

Stopped here on our travels home, atmosphere was small town! Food was very good, service was off, maybe just the day not sure! Not having a open bathroom to use after traveling for hours was very disappointing!
