This restaurant has a poor reputation among locals. It’s not where we go to eat, it’s where the snowbirds go. Not because the food is bad, it’s not. It’s because they will make a group of locals wait longer than they do a group from say NJ or NY. I’ve heard this from others, and last night a few friends and I experienced it ourselves as we waited over an hour when initially told only 30 minutes. All the while multiple groups came after us and ended up being seated before us even after telling us they told them a longer wait time. It was obvious they wanted to fill the tables with older couples from the northeast over us local guys. We took our business elsewhere and we will be spreading the word that locals are not wanted at the Eagle grill.
Great food, cold beer. Sara was excellent behind the bar
Obviously people the owner does not care about the a very rude inconsiderate drunk person you should be kissing the ground his customers walk on obviously people like Us made him wealthy and famous for his restaurant it's just really sad as I scroll down the reviews and see that really the only complaint here is the owner he's obviously a 70 year bully I would have hated to know this guy in my younger years he was probably a horrible classmate and probably pushed weaker people around but one of these days you'll have deserved what comes to him I hope he reads because you should appreciate everyone that walks through your doors man but one of these days you're going to run your drunk mouth to the wrong person and you are going to get knocked out and I can't wait to read the review that says that
As good as they were the first time, is as bad as they were this time. Some meals undercooked other overcooked. Slow service. At first we were given a time limit. The food showed up with 20 minutes to go in our time allotted. Only then were we told not to worry about the time limit. Big disappointment.
Awesome! What a hidden gem this place is! Friendly staff and the owner Peter is great! Had oysters, scallops, and the most insane gumbo with a crab cake on it that rivals Maryland joints. Will definitely be returning!
