I'd rather not share my experience but it's truly sad and I am disappointed!
the food here is worthy of the 5 star. This place is sneaky good. From the store front you may have limited expectations
Most patrons dining in or using the takeout service at a restuarant applies common knowledge when tipping using the tip jar on the counter labled "tips". It is the customer's generous form of gratitude for the wait staff that assisted them and should be given as intended. Not here. The owners at E*Sushi take the money to line their own pockets and tell the staff that it goes towards the "business". They use young school age girls to work the counters so they can take advantage of them, thinking they won't question this practice. This is absolutely disgusting not only to the hard working staff relying on these tips to supplement their wages, but to their customers who have already paid generously for their meals to go towards the "business". Shame on this establishment.
Whoops! Place is getting blown up on the Nextdoor app right now bc owners are STEALING TIPS from employees. Verified by some people who claim to be parents of employees.
That food was the most disgusting thing i’ve ever eaten, the atmosphere was unwelcoming, the waitress only checked on us twice. the only thing nice was the lady at the front.
If the postings about the tip jar are true, the owners deserve all of the bad karma and lost business they are about to endure
Insane how they take employees tip money and use money from the “business”. Never seen that one before.
Great spot for sushi or hibachi. They don't cook in front of you but they do a good job.
