Absolutely terrible experience at this restaurant. Upon ordering orders for beef koobideh, salmon, soltani - a long piece of hair was found in the salad of one of the koobidehs. It was mentioned that it would be compensated - however instead of compensating the dish, they simply compensated the side ($3) salad that was ordered... very unprofessional and shady business practices. The salmon that came to the table was severely pink inside and had to be taken back to the kitchen. We canceled this order as it was inedible. At least this dish was compensated i guess. The beef soltani was extremely dry and poorly seasoned. The beef koobideh has under grilled on one side, and over grilled on another. A side yogurt of mast-o-masir was ordered and came only at the end of the meal. All in all a terrible experience with managers or owners who were difficult. I will not return, and do not recommend this place to others - but would definitely recommend Di Bar, which is only 5 minutes down the street and has Excellenet food and staff. Update: If you look at the response - it is laughable. Everything mentioned was easy to accommodate. Tip was left specifically for the waitress, where i mentioned that her service was the only redeemable part of the meal. Please do better in your business practices and try not to threaten strangers online. Thanks!

Came across this restaurant on yelp and decided to stop by because of their great reviews. Im glad i did because now it makes sense why they have such good reviews. Amazing 10/10 service and food. Highly recommend

We had a reservation at Dyar on Saturday (4/13/24) and were seated promptly outside. Nice touch with the name tag on the table! Our server, Amanda, was friendly and attentive. The food was good - on par with the other three Persian restaurants in Alpharetta for both taste and price. We tried the Mirza Ghassemi, Koobideh, Wild Salmon, Jumbo Shrimp App, and Dyar Salad. However, there were a couple of things that kept it from being a perfect 5 stars. Firstly, unlike most restaurants, the server didn't ask how we wanted our meat cooked. I had to specifically request the salmon well done. Secondly, there was a surprise $3 charge for cooking the salmon well done, which wasn't mentioned on the menu (unlike the $2 extra bread charge). I paid the bill, but I'm still curious about the extra charge. Was it for the extra cooking time? Or perhaps the Chef was offended that I like to eat my Salmon Well Done? Overall, it was a decent experience, but the surprise charge brings it down a bit.

Loved the food and staff. Must try. I am definitely going back. Kid-friendliness: The staff was very patient with children. We had a 1 year old with us who was all over the place. We sat outdoors.

We had a very good night, the environment was very clean and friendly, the food was all excellent, and the service was also excellent. I suggest that you go to this restaurant if you want a warm and quiet environment

I want to tell you about an amazing 5 star Persian food restaurant, DYAR in Peachtree Corners. It's a 30 seat (including the bar) eloquently decorated eatery with scrumdiddlyumptious food. Geri our waitress was so excellent. She took her time explain to "rookies" in Persian food cusine what all the different dishes were & gave a general idea of their taste. First came the flat bread & the feta with a few veggies & hummus so good After that came the Jumbo Prawns, succulent & pepper flavored, (but not too spicey, definitelyworth the 15.00)Wifey is seafood allergic, so I SUFFERED & ate all three by myself OMG! Next was a 4 piece Rack of Lamb & Chicken Barg which we politely shared. I gave her a lambchop & she cut me a nice slice of her tenderly cooked chicken. She ordered hers with yellow rice with cranberries & I had a rice that was butter flavored. Her rice with the cranberries was FANTASTIC. (I was jealous for her rice after that). lol The Lambchops were tender & juicy with a spice I've never tasted before & I forgot to ask what it was. SORRY. It was the best Chop we've both ever tasted, both for tenderness & flavor! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and definitely rate our experience as "five stars". Please make reservations & bring you CC with the large limit bc we didn't have drinks & spent 150 with tip & feel like we definitely got our $$$ worth.
