While the food and service were great, the music just did not feel like it meld well with the dining experience. The bar was rather too rowdy and it distracted me from fully enjoying my meal. This is an ideal place for couple/family dining rather than solo dining.

Hidden gem downtown Madison. I didn't know this restaurant existed and it has been around for 4 years now. A must try. Great food and excellent service. Highly recommend.

D’Vino is such a lovely family owned place! Both times I’ve been the chef/owner comes out to ask how everything is. Love the pesto and vodka sauce!

On Friday, we enjoyed another memorable evening at D'Vino. We love taking friends and visiting family to D'Vino to enjoy the best Italian food in Madison. This time, our guests were two foodies: my step-daughter and her husband. They were enchanted. If you're looking for a special experience, D'Vino mixes the best of old-style Italian-family food and modern updates; all made with fresh, authentic ingredients. On Friday, we were quickly provided with drinks and a friendly welcome by Andre and the attentive staff. We ordered two Appetizer plates filled with cheeses, meats, olives and D'Vino's divine caponata--always a great start. Dino Maniaci, the owner/chef, embodies warm Italian hospitality; creating a truly home-like atmosphere. He circulates the room, welcoming each guest and personally describes the specials. Dino draws on his own deep roots in Italian family restaurants to recreate Italian classics as well as updated variations of the best of Italian cooking. On Friday, my step-daughter Becky ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, made with Dino's Nona's sauce. Becky was in raptures. I ordered the same dish but with GF penne. Honestly, D'Vino is the only restaurant GF pasta I've had that actually tastes like perfectly-cooked pasta. The pasta boulongese was also a huge hit. The desserts a perfect end-note: canolli; lemon sorbetto and Proseco float and blood orange sorbet. Thank you Dino and your excellent team for another wonderful evening at D'Vino!

We had a corporate dinner at D'Vino last week and everything was excellent!! All our guests had great feedback, and said things like "amazing," "best steak I've ever had," and "easily top 10 best meals in my life" I just want to say thank you to the wonderful and attentive staff for everything! It was great to meet the owner / chef and hear stories about the family recipes. I'm sure you'll have repeat customers from our group.
