Dutch Pot Restaurant - North Lauderdale

Froze n flew back to MD with my order. The oxtails n cabbage was ok. Rice n beans were dry. Plantan was drab. Had litterally no flavor. My cu z swears by this place though Parking: More than enough Wheelchair accessibility: Sure a wheelchair coild fit thru door

If I could give -5 stars I would. The staff is slow, disrespectful and not helpful. Customers Service was nonexistent. Not only was the staff rude but I waited over 25 minutes for 2 mini dinners and 2 patties. After all that waiting I was even more disappointed when I tasted the food. It’s like the chef had forgotten that food needs flavor where is the seasoning because I did not see it or taste it. Not to mention the food service staff did not wear gloves . This is a definite would not recommend.

Today I wanted to eat Caribbean food and I went to a place where they were clearly racist towards me. I waited in line like everyone else to order and when my turn came they didn't serve me, ignored me and went directly to the other person behind me. I stood shockingly for a minute. This is how racism begins. My skin is white but I treat people with respect regardless of what you look like. I have beautiful friends that come from all over the Caribbean and the world. This was disgusting customer service.

I wouldn’t consider myself to be a regular patron however this location has been my choice up until tonight. There was no one in front of me the ladies proceeded to prolong their conversation without no acknowledgment. Let me be quite clear upon entering the store a gentleman who is part of this establishment did greet me. I was waiting quite patiently. A customer who I believe is a regular came in not only was he greeted one of the ladies actually told him that he should come to the front so that she can serve him. At this point I became quite aware that this is poor customer service I didn’t feel the need to have any dialogue with either of them so I left. This is quite upsetting to me because I don’t think I will be returning to this location.

I didn’t even get my food because I did not appreciate the service that I received when I got there and I will not be going back there definitely not good customer service

And another thing they do is, when you CLEARLY speak your order and they screw it up, rather than take RESPONSIBILITY, they turn around telling you that you "said this" or you "said that". If I say a Lunch Special and you prepare a SMALL, DON'T TELL ME ", I TOLD YOU SMALL"! I know WHAT & how MUCH MY stomach can take. So if you screwed up the order, THAT is on YOU, don't try passing it off onto the customer if you're DEAF. THEY CAN BE SO FRIGGIN RUDE IN THERE.

These young girls you have working the line is trash, put the veterans back to speaking with the customers. I asked for fritters, young girl says there isn't any, I ordered something else and 1 minute later it arrives from the back.. I should have never stopped here, I usually go to the commercial location. Have a good day
