Beignets were doughy and greasy. Oil probably wasn’t hot enough when they dropped them. Cafe au lait was just coffee and milk poured out of a thermos. Not worth going out of your way.
First time guest and the owner was groovy, informative and tolerant. It's made to order and super tasty. Love the name. Love the cozy feel and had injad better company to dine with it'd been a whole treat. We won't count then out for my own haggard taste lol. Hats off to dusty biscuits and single serving breakfast buddies. Boom. Kid-friendliness: Small but the owner is clearly a dad and a people person. Dig it.
I loved my experience here! Service was fast and friendly, and the server really took the time to explain the menu to me. I got the Sausage & Dusty Biscuits with a maple glaze, and also an order of their normal beignets (the French Quarter). Both were phenomenal! It ended up being a bit too much food for one person, but these two would’ve made a solid breakfast for two. I also was enjoying the sausage beignets so much that I forgot to take a picture before I was all done! I’ll definitely be back.
Cool little small shop. Ok on taste but the beignets were a bit too doughy and heavy. I prefer light and fluffy. We ordered their basic beignets and the Kings-cake which is made out of the same dough.
Great beignets and very good chicory coffee
Really cool spot but limited seats
10/10 wife brought some home for breakfast and I was blown away!!! Can’t even act like this any less than what you’d find in the French quarter. Seriously a gem to be found on south main! Will be back for that king cake beignet!!!!
