Great food, went couple of times

We ate here on many occasions when visiting the city ( we last visited about 10 years ago) and the food was wonderful- so we decided to eat here again for lunch when we visited Edinburgh last week for our Easter break. The service was good but the food not good quailty (especially for £66 without wine and for 3 starters and one main course). We are used to high prices living in London but the food quality was standard to say the least. We were very disappointed with the lack of flavouring and taste - what has changed here??? We believe this place must have different owners and chefs- since the change in the food is soo dramatically poor compared to our previous experiences - hence 2 stars. Quite a pity- we won't be back when we return to Edinburgh again!

Fantastic Thai food. Shellfish was very good. Chose to visit at a quiet time.

Wow..we came across this restaurant on day 1 of our Edinburgh trip. Looking for an evening meal. From the offset the welcome given by the staff, intricate details such as taking our coats. Providing water. After we placed our orders and chosen drinks the staff were constantly attentive. Prior to the food arriving, the plates were brought to the table warm. Real folded napkins also. The starter of chicken satay was divine, beautifully presented. The flavors were perfect. The table was cleaned before our mains arrived & again when ice had melted on it. Once again, new cutlery and warm plates before our mains. One dish had a fab rose in a little vase on the side. The pad thai was fully of succelent chicken. The steak teriyaki was full of fresh flavours. We were once again surrounded by very attentive staff. The restaurant is so clean & the entire group of staff were friendly and courteous.

So pleased they could squeeze us in at last minute. the food came with quantity and quality. Flavours were amazing!
