Dunkin'

Love this Dunkin! It was a staple during the lockdown and continues to be one we visit. They have 2 drive thrus now to help with flow of traffic.

Frozen coffee and bagel bits hit the spot.

General experience here has been great. But the last two times I have come here there has been a big enough issue to upset me for a good minute. As I know this is going to sound like Karening out I want to make it clear I recognise mistakes happen and I more than willing to forgive I will probably be back but I do want to get my voice out there on these two things. The other day I came by and I was having trouble getting my order right I was a bit busy and scattered brained I feel bad for the person on the other side but I ordered my partner a drink and when I went to order mine I got interrupted and told to move up, it happens I just went with it and tried to let it go. But Today I came up made my normal order and decided not to get drinks today (just had some nothing specific about service) and I order the breakfast Empanada (It is really good I recommend getting one) but it was cooked on the other side and the stuff on the inside was so cold I at one point I thought it was frozen (I checked if it was) and as I was eating it going down 35 at the time I couldn’t really go back to get the situation rectified. I hope these are just some flukes but it’s really upsetting me I don’t want to change my routine around dunkin’ by going somewhere else.

It’s a shame that I keep forgetting how bad this Dunkin is at making good coffee. Dunkin has good coffee (butter pecan) but regardless of how many extra pumps of swirl you ask for you get the default setting. I don’t go often for obvious reasons (I like a little extra type 2 in my coffee, that Wilfred Brimley special if you catch my drift) there’s always new faces, must have an extremely high turnover. You’d think with all the new faces rotating in and out they’d at least find 1 person that can push that dang pump more than 4 times. I literally ask for double the pumps and still that default barely there flavor. Also if you pay extra for oat milk you should at least put enough in that it changes the color of the coffee. It’s unfair to compare their donuts to other bakery’s, they are not a bakery, but even with that you get fresher donuts with better flavor at the Speedway. Nobody goes to Dunkin for donuts except the jerk that was running late for the meeting and was expected to bring breakfast so the donuts did not reflect my rating. I never get them.
