Love this place and I would recommend pork and dill dumplings. Very good value. I wish they would offer a dumpling sampler and I'd prefer dishes over plastic containers. We had a dish we didn't like and the owner substituted it, good customer service.

Great food. Always take away for me. Difficult to find a parking lot nearby.

Very simple little place tucked into a little side street off of Grand Ave. Decided to check it out after seeing good reviews—we got pan fried soup dumplings, beef pancake, garlic string beans and chicken chow mein. Owner surprised us with fried sesame balls filled with either a bean paste or black sesame seed paste—absolutely delicious. My favorite dish was the beef pancake—the Chinese black vinegar on the table was an amazing addition to its flavor! Everything was delicious and my leftovers were happily devoured at work the next day. Other reviews refer to this place as a hidden gem and they are absolutely correct. Will be ordering from here and dining in again soon.

Authentic, Delicious and Fresh Food, served with pride. This is a must visit and a must return. A family owned and operated establishment was a diamond in the rough. Like many places that may lack curb appeal, once you enter, you know you are going to experience the real deal. Dumpling Empire did not disappoint. Hot tea was served immediately along with ice water. We inspected the homemade hot chili sauce on the table and could not wait to place our order and try this sauce out. Don't mind the paper plates and plastic forks, you also get chop sticks and plenty of well-absorbing paper napkins. This place is clean. We felt like we were at someone's home or picnic. For us, so much fun and a warm feeling. The food does all the speaking that is needed. We, party of two, after work, started off with spicy green beans that were snap-tactically fresh and perfectly spiced with flavor and heat. The beans were followed by pork dumplings with cabbage that were simple but elegantly flavored, no heat here. On to the salt and pepper fish. Wow! Fresh, crispy fish that were spiced perfectly. the right amount of salt and pepper that did not take away from the fish. We finally got to try the homemade hot chili sauce. Exploding with flavor. If you like flavor with heat, this is the place, and this is the sauce. Habanero base and other spices added to bring happiness and fire to our palate. Many of us have been there, "This stuff is hot, but the rich flavors keep bringing me back. . .I can't stop!" Rounding out our order was a traditional chicken fried rice that, as expected, was hot, fresh and delicious. Again, not heat, but plenty of fresh flavors. So many traditional dishes and interesting ones to try. Well done Dumpling Empire!

Such a hidden gem. You know the food is going to be good when they serve you with take out boxes and lids. Came here countless times last year. My default order are their lamb dumplings, pork and chive dumplings, pan fried soup dumplings, beef pancake, and their garlic string beans!!! Nearing the end of our meal, the table next to us was raving about how good the Grilled chicken fried rice was and ofc I couldn't help to order it too. Honestly it was just okay. Nothing too special imo. But their house made (?) hot sauce on the other hand.. is very unique. Right when you sit down, you'll see a bright orange container screaming at you. Highly recommend trying. It's very different from the typical hot sauce you get from restaurants. This one has a different kick. Very pleasant taste and spice. Make sure to pair it with their black vinegar too. Service is consistently pretty good. They're attentive and efficient. They speak mainly mando and also English. Seating is limited. Maybe around 8 tables that can seat 4 each. Lunch time is usually the busiest time. Overall, highly recommend!! 01.01.2024 | Monday @2:30pm
