Great food, great cocktails, great service, great atmosphere
It was perfect. Beautiful location. Great food. Great service. All the good things.
Food great but service needs a lot of work
Highly recommend Duke’s La Jolla! My whole family loved it and everything was amazing: the atmosphere, service and food. We had Poke Tacos, Mac Nut and Herb Crusted Fresh Fish, Cheeseburger Kids meals and of course Hula Pie! Our server, Sean was great! Thanks for the awesome service, we can’t wait to dine here again soon. Kid-friendliness: Duke’s La Jolla is a family friendly restaurant. They have cool coloring books for the kids, a good kids menu and hula pie for dessert is a must. My kids enjoyed the decor and learning all about Duke.
Food was fine. The Hula pie is fine too- not amazing but a fun dessert for sure. Beautiful view!
Great service and atmosphere. Took me back to the laid-back vibes of the touristy Hawaiian joints in Maui. We came early for lunch, maybe 11am, on a Friday and got a table one row back from the waterfront patio view. Stunning. My fish and chips may be the best I've had, and any place that has POG juice (or better yet, POG cocktails), has my full attention. This was at the end of a weeklong trip through LA and SD so I was fully adjusted to the eye-watering prices of coastal menus, and at least this stuff was excellent. When we left around noon, the tables were full all the way back into the restaurant, so get there early for the views!
De los mejores lugares de la Jolla, me encantó la comida, el trato y el lugar. Pedimos unos calamares empanizados y un plato caliente de mariscos. Delicioso. Gracias a Jacob por la atención. :D
