****Update - visited today and although mine and husband's ice cream tasted great, the cone was horribly stale.... which went into the garbage. We had already left to go home, but I called within a half hour later and spoke with staff. Made the comment that last summer we also had a stale cone. Honestly, he didn't seem to care and just said....he'd pass that along. Okaaay. ‐------------------------------------- The past... The best ice cream!! Friendly staff and clean and welcoming place!

ATTN Festivalers,, Carabou Ice Cream!! Not to mention The BEST blueberry shake ever! They make their own blueberry sauce for the shakes & sundaes. House Made Ice Creams & Sorbettos. Their passion for perfection is tasted in every bite. Reuben Sandwich and Chicken Club House were definitely a levels above ordinary and extremely filling. Best place in Peg

The lemon meringue pie ice cream was DELISH!

We went there after supper time, not too busy. Lots of tables were available! The cones tasted little stale. Ice cream was great!!! Kid-friendliness: Yes! The staff gave my 2 kids little baby cones on top of their regular ice cream cones!

Ordered the Shepherds Pie and some other goodies last night, the shepherds pie was so flavourful and I enjoyed the vegan chocolate cookies. Have yet to dig into the ice cream I ordered, but I have no doubt it will also be delicious!

If you haven’t been to Dug & Betty’s you haven’t had good ice cream. Best ice cream shop in the city. Flavours are magical.

We went for lunch with family. Looking forward to the cream of mushroom soup however the soup was watery and not mushroomy. I did love my smoked salmon bagel! My spouse had spaghetti and meatballs! I found the soft ice cream slightly gritty. The service was very good. Cute restaurant. Noisy at lunch time.
