Great food and drinks. Highly recommend the fish balls and desserts. Nice family run business.
Just at the entrance of the mall. $4.25 for mix of fish and beef balls (3 of each). Curry ones isn't that spicy. Nice lil snack.
This spot is great for grabbing yummy snacks on the go. The owner prepares authentic traditional treats daily, including some of my childhood favourites. The sticky rice is a must-try! The green bean variation of sticky rice is my personal favourite :)
We all loved loved the tea that the sweet couple made us here.
I had some of the drinks here and they were great! The fishballs made me feel at home!
The curry fishballs were a delightful blend of savory and spicy flavors, with the fishballs soaking up the rich curry sauce perfectly. The Hong Kong milk tea was a comforting companion, offering a well-balanced sweetness that complemented the heat of the curry. As for the radish cake its soft and flavourful interior left a lasting impression – a harmonious trio that made for a satisfying and memorable meal.
Absolutely the best Radish & Taro Cakes. I’m a picky eater, but these stuff are hard to find. I’ve always purchased the frozen ones from T&T but nothing is better than freshly made ones. I cut them into slices and fried them at home, and they tasted extremely good. The store sells various Authentic Chinese food and snacks. The most popular seem to be their Hong Kong-style fish/beef balls which appears to be their staple food. They also have Tea Eggs which is a rare delicacy to find in Canada. I’ve also tried some of their dessert items which were fantastic but I’ve always loved my sweets. So, I had to have their lychee jelly, and the layered cake. There were also some Herbal Jelly I used to hear off TV dramas but never tried. They also serve plenty of drinks including Bubble Tea, Herbal Teas, and HK Milk Tea. It’s worth noting the Herbal Tea because I’ve never seen any other shop sell them in Toronto. There’s also Sticky Rice, Dim Sum, and some other items I have not tried, but will definitely try in the future.
