A place I literally drive past every day, but finally decided to see what it's like. I dropped in a bit early, so it wasn't as lively, or the parking lot packed. It is an urban bar, and I visited while dressed and treated respectfully. Ordered my typical gin and tonic, and when I saw the bottle the bartender was reaching for, I told them well gin was fine. I do have to remember to tell them well liquor when I visit a new place. Service was friendly and prompt, and I decided to try an appetizer off their menu. I got some jalapeno poppers (gotta be careful with the molten cream cheese), and enjoyed them with my first drink. And I had another one. They do accept credit cards, but hold onto your card if you start a tab. I finished my drink as the place was starting to fill in. I might return, but not while they're the most busy, as the lot is full, as I drive by to my third shift job. Didn't feel like going to the usual gay bar for NYE, and a friend suggested going to a straight bar. I figured I could go here, have a few drinks and some food, and see if I could last till midnight. The boneless wings were good, but I was curious about the Jamaican Jerk sauce. And I was satisfied with the spicy heat.
