Doug's Place

Down to earth diner in a strip mall, blue collar type. Nothing fancy, standard fare but if you are tired of overpriced avocado toast, this is my preferred place in CV for breakfast.

Great breakfast

The food TASTES good but every time I’ve ate it makes me feel lethargic. It really could be something that they’re using in the food that we’re not informed about.

We found a new favorite Brunch spot!! This family-owned restaurant has been around for over 25 years and the service makes you feel at home. Along with their famous Omelettes and other breakfast dishes, Doug's serves lunch for those who don't care for breakfast food. They recently released "A Taste of Mexico" menu and you HAVE to try the Concha French Toast! It's entertainment all on its own! Feeling hungover? You can now order a nice bowl of Menudo on Saturdays and Sundays. Great food for even better price. The chicken fried steak was on point

I was happy with the stuff and ordered veggie omelette and other food but as I took my first bite there was a piece of bacon in it. I was so disgusted. Dietary restrictions are for a reason and even though they were nice about it and changed it right away, it wasn't the same.
