I had a perfect time and great food.

After we picked up our daughter from school, she told us that she was hungry. So we happened upon Dos Toros Taqueria by chance. The place was huge and we were the only ones there except for the lady behind the register and the folks in the cooking area. You'd think with the place empty that we'd get a "welcome. Not the case. The woman behind the counter never lifted her head up from whatever task she was doing. The concept is Chipotlesque but as no one was there the service was quick. The amount was slightly less than the competitor, but my pork was delicious. My wife found that the beef was OK. My complaint was with the lady behind the counter. I used my credit card to pay for our meals about $50: 2 meals and 3 beverages. The next part I am not too clear about, but 1) the credit card machine was faulty 2) the lady scrolled through the payment screens to fast 3) or I clicked the green button too fast, but I missed the tip section on the screen. Now I ain't going to lie, but I loathe tipping. However, I know it is part of the culture norm in America, so I always tip by doubling the tax. I took the food to the table and I was going to ask my wife for cash for the tip. But immediateltly the lady comments to her colleagues (I'll paraphrase)--- just because people arent being served at the table they don't think a tip is merited. If she thought I slighted her why be loud about it? Keep it to.yourself or wait until the customer leaves. Then the crew turned up the music (which had not been on prior) loudly. Coincidence? Perhaps, but I am a cynic. We cleaned up nicely, but no "thank you for coming" or "have a nice day." Ultimately, food was above average. The service was below.

The food is pretty good- especially the extra hot salsa. If you like spicy, get this salsa. I also liked when they had impossible meat, but they got rid of that, unfortunately. The service is really bad, though. The place closes at 9:30. I come in at 8:25 and order. They look at you like you're bothering them when you order. I then sit down at a seat. A worker comes up to me and says "the seating area is closed, but I'll let you stay here." I was uncomfortable, but continued to eat since I already started. She comes back and says, "You can't use any of the trash cans in here." All said in a rude tone. I see she was starting to clean the seating area, but there was no sign up that said seating was closed. It was over 1 hr before closing and you don't want to allow anybody to sit? I get they might not like their jobs, but you can't just decide to close down the restaurant over an hour before closing and treat customers rudely because you want to leave work early.

This was the first time trying this restaurant and i should have kept driving. There were 2 younger people at the counter (should have got their names, they were nice) and an older women working the grill (she was just angry). Well apparently the older women didn't like that I was asking questions about their unclear menu and kept saying, from the grill, the line is getting longer, the line is getting longer. When the younger girl was being very kind and explaining their unclear menu. Mind you the entire place was empty and there were 2 ppl (a couple) behind me in line. The experience wasn't pleasant and the food is typical, nothing special compared to the Chipotles and Qdoba's of the world and the were much more expensive. So for those who are daring to try this place the tacos come two to an order, something the menu fails to say. But ask about the things to add because many items have a up charge. As a reference, 4 chicken tacos cost $29.00. Visitors beware.

i got nachos and it was so good. i am obsessed with dos toros.

Food is ok for a fast food tacos, but customer service is the worst. The attitude of the workers, specially the female with the lip piercing is the worst, she acts like the customers are working for her and she doesn’t want to move a muscle.
