I've eaten here twice; if I lived in the city, it would be more. Exquisite food. The lasagna pasta and marinara are so fresh! Spinach/mushroom ravioli is totally worth the clogged arteries it'll give you. Everyone has a pear salad, but the dressing here is special. Distinguished wine list, albeit pricey. Service was excellent both times, but last night's visit deserves a shout out. We explained we were running late for a show, and despite the Friday night rush, they had lasagna in front of us within 10 minutes. Amazing. Made our show with ease. Decor is attractive, but when crowded, the place gets so noisy you have to shout at your fellow diners. Not a place for a first date, unless it's an uncrowded time like Saturday afternoon.
Our pizza was really wet which was too bad because the flavor of the crust was very good. The wetness made the bottom of the pizza really soggy and messy. Service was also pretty bad.
For a semi late night spot the pizza & Italian fare are top tier. They’re an offshoot of the former Zero Zero Pizzeria; the quality never changed. Chewy perfectly cooked crust, great pastas & service. Dining room can be cramped if they get super busy in the evenings- just FYI
Great food. Servers work really hard. Sometimes things come to the table in odd order, like apps before drinks, but not too often. Bustling place! A little crowded and noisy on Saturday but still enjoyable!
Service and food were excellent. We’ll definitely eat here again.
A very nice and very good restaurant in a nice area of San Francisco! Thanks to our waiter Eric P. for your excellent service! Two happy customers from Montreal
We dined there after an opera show, and even though it was really busy, the service was fantastic. We tried a margherita pizza, a pear salad, and tiramisu, and everything was exceptional. The pizza dough is authentic Neapolitan style, and you can really tell the flour and yeast are high quality. The mozzarella is also fresh and premium. The tiramisu sticks to a Tuscan tradition, with ladyfinger cookies drenched in espresso, layered with mascarpone cheese and cocoa - just perfect, nothing more. As someone who loves salads, I was thrilled with their options. The salad had fresh organic arugula, pear, goat cheese, and pumpkin seeds, all tossed in a lemon honey thyme vinaigrette that's perfectly balanced, letting you taste every ingredient. Plus, they have a great wine selection. Vegetarian options: Salads, Pizza Vegana, White pizza fungo, Bufalina, Margherita, Pulcinella, Gnocchi, Ravioli Vegani, Burrata, Crispy artichokes
