I ordered cupcakes for a party without much expectation and the cupcakes were delicious, probably the most delicious I had. Everyone loved the cupcakes, will order again

I came across Doodlecakes in an Alameda Facebook group post, and I'm so glad I did! I asked Rebekah for a custom Skyline Chili cake for my friend's birthday, and was amazed to see she achieved EXACTLY what I was imagining! My friend was blown away when they saw it :) There were many tempting flavors for a custom cake! After hearing recommendations from Rebekah about what would work best for the design (she clearly knows what she's doing), I ordered a vanilla cake with a mix of vanilla/cream cheese frosting, and whipped cream filling with fresh strawberries and blueberries. The cake was absolutely delicious--everyone at the party raved about how it was moist with the perfect level of sweetness. Doodlecakes was very communicative about the delivery as well! I was texted about any delays, and called to ensure the cake made it to me safely after I asked a housemate to receive it for me. All in all, it was easy and a pleasure to work with Doodlecakes on a custom order. I paid $110 for my 6" custom cake + delivery + tax, and it was well worth it! I'll definitely be coming back to Doodlecakes and sending my friends their way for any custom cake needs :)

doodlecakes is amazing! My sister came to Alameda to visit me for her birthday and I failed to plan ahead, but doodlecakes was so kind and accommodating even with my last-minute cake order. They managed to squeeze me in and produced a gorgeous, delicious red velvet cake that my sister absolutely loved. Not to mention, the staff was joking around laughing with us the entire time we were in the store both to order and pick up. Cannot recommend doodlecakes enough for a scrumptious cake and a fantastic atmosphere

The best cupcakes! I've used Doodlecakes twice for a baby shower (mama-to-be was vegan and gluten free) and a bridal shower. I had multiple people come up and ask where I got the cupcakes saying they're the best cupcakes they've ever had. If you're looking for dessert for an event, look no further! Adorable, tasty cupcakes made by kind people. I ordered custom mini cupcakes for a small themed wedding party, and they were perfect.

We love Doodle Cakes! I wish they had a few more flavors to choose from in their daily line up. It would also be nice if they had longer hours. Their location is . Our daughter raves about them! The staff are so kind; we’ve never had a bad visit. Recommend for sure!

Great cupcakes! They’re moist, soft and topped with the most perfect amount of yummy frosting. I find some shops are so focused on making the cupcakes pretty that they neglect what matters most. They remind me of homemade ones. Only thing is I wish they had more non gluten free options. But there’s something for everyone!

I couldn't believe there's a cool bakery shop in Alameda. I checked out their website and noticed they do birthday cakes in smaller sizes. I came here to try their cupcakes. I got chocolate smores, vanilla matcha, nog, and gingerbread. 3.99 per one. The chocolate wasn't as sweet which I preferred. To me the cupcakes were a bit dense. The overall quality was great. I would come back for cakes for special occasions.
