Donkey Taqueria

Overpriced (I was charged $3 for sparkling water), under-served (I was told the salsa I ordered came from a squirt bottle on the table), and my server was bringing his bad mood to our table. I’ve been to Donkey more times than I can count. This was by FAR the worst. Who serves squirt bottle salsa at a Mexican restaurant? Who lets servers treat their table like that? Who charges $3 for sparkling water ON TOP OF the $8 you charged me for the Tito’s that was added. This restaurant has gone so far under that it’s not even worth visiting anymore. If you’re from out of town, don’t waste your time…you’ll find much better service and cuisine from someone else. Sadly, I would have recommended them years ago, but not anymore.

Come on Donkey! You've been my go-to since 2020. Great margs, great tacos and used to be great chips-queso. Past two times the chips are the equivalent of a salt lick. Holy cow Batman, reduce the salt on the chips so our arteries can survive. Simple change needed to keep a few loyal customers coming back.

Delicious food and unique, trendy atmosphere. Our server Avery was very knowledgeable and attentive. Highly recommend!
