Don Vito's Italian Restaurant consistently delivers a culinary experience that surpasses expectations. The chicken Parmesan, a standout dish, is hailed as the best ever tasted, boasting flavors that leave a lasting impression. The chicken francese is equally exceptional, reaching culinary heights that transport diners into a realm of unparalleled taste. The homemade touch is evident in the cheesecake and tiramisu, both of which are not only delicious but carry a distinct flavor that resonates with the love and care put into their creation. What makes Don Vito's truly special is the personalized and warm treatment patrons receive, exemplified by Barbara. On our 8th visit, the familial atmosphere was palpable, as Barbara consistently goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcomed and cherished. This commitment to genuine hospitality, combined with the restaurant's stellar cuisine, solidifies Don Vito's as a go-to destination for those seeking not just exceptional Italian fare but an overall delightful dining experience.
I'm happy to say I've been here several times although they might have been years apart. The food is excellent the owners are the best
Great place to eat. Parking was a challenge. The owner was fabulous I think her name was Naima. Great job! The lasagna was dope.
This is absolutely one of the best Italian restaurants I have had the pleasure to dine at. It is easily comparable if not better than some of my favorites in NYC. Great and friendly owner. The modest exterior will not prepare you for how good the food is. The interior is fine, but the food and people are superlative.
Saturday night as my mom, toddler and I were walking to our car parked in front of Don Vito’s we were approached by a very upset/aggressive man asking us for food/money. I told him I didn’t have any cash but he could have the left overs I was carrying if he was hungry. He carried on for a minute as I told my mom to take my toddler to the car. I gave him my food and started to walk away with him still yelling. Two employees inside of Don Vito’s saw this exchange happening and came out to make sure everything was okay. These two women explained that this man has been causing issues on the street and even inside their restaurant and other businesses lately. They made sure we were okay and stayed outside until we were safely in our car. We are so very touched by their compassion and readiness to help us without hesitation. Thank you so much to these two women! It feels so good knowing there are some truly good people left in the world.
Food was good. I had the bolognese and my wife had the Bascaiola. The bolognese was more tangy than others I have had. I would eat here again.
