Don Pedro

First and foremost I want to say how of an unprofessional owner of Don Pedro’s is! Don Pedro’s was my ultimate favorite spot to eat because of how good the food is until we attended the Mexican Brunch that Don Pedro’s hosted on Sunday March 10, 2024. On the Mexican Brunch while the owner of Don Pedro’s was in the brunch having a great time with everyone he had the nerves to pay the dj and to tell us that the brunch has to be shut down at 5pm and that the bar had to also be shut down by like 4 something all because of a party that was consuming a lot of alcohol. So instead of going to his bartenders and telling them to stop serving the other party drinks the owner decided to just shut the brunch 1 hour early than what was originally advertised on their flyer and ruin the great time we all were having! This could've been avoided if the owner would’ve just went to his bartenders and simply refused the other party drinks! But no! He decided to shut the brunch 1 hour early! On top of that the owner decided not to respond to all of our complaints that we had sent to him and Don Pedro’s Facebook page. Just today Don Pedro’s Facebook page just blocked me all because I made a comment on their newly brunch flyer that they will be hosting. So to the owner of Don Pedro- Dorian Menchaca I really hope you read my Google review that I am leaving because you should really be ashamed of yourself! Don Pedro’s will never see another penny from my entire family ever again! Horrible owner that Don Pedro’s have!

Consistently good food. One of the best queso fundido around. Give it a try with poblano. Good price points. Steak dishes are always good from a burrito to carne asada. Cantador is great if spicy is your thing. Not really a bad dish on the menu. Good selection of tequila and flavors of margaritas. It does get busy at peak times, but worth the wait. A community staple for years.

It was empty and still teci bed slow service the waitress seemed annoyed. Keep in mind first time here. I live in the far south suburbs and pancho pistolas 31 and union keeps up even when they are insanely crowded

Chicken enchiladas delicious. Frozen Strawberry Margarita delicious.

The lady taking my order seems to either have a bad day or is naturally unhappy. And I felt attacked when I was seated. She said "go sit wherever" I sat looked at the menu and when she came back asked for my order but was saying it with an attitude the whole time. The other lady server was very since when comparing the two. Food is mediocre at best. Look at the picture.. she clearly is upset and idk why. She didn't even full tomato slices rice needs flavor. They don't have salt and pepper shakers. I don't think I would come here again based on this one experience. But because I have been here fore and had a good time I would come again but make sure not to have that waitress ever again. Parking: There is a mini lot next to the building, but you can also park across the street.
