Don Hall's Hollywood Drive-In

I've been coming here for years, as of late they really have disappointed me. In the last 3 visits, I ordered a pan fish fried sandwich as I do all the time. 3 times in a row, they gave me a deep-fried fish sandwich. I was able to catch it this time before I drove off. Went back inside and told them the order is wrong and asked them to pan fry. No apologies are anything, I think this will be my last visit.

Service was great, however I never want to leave a bad review, and maybe it was a onetime thing, but my cheesesteak and my GF's pancakes were disgusting. And for the $30 I paid it was very dissapointing.

Food bland, no flavor, no seasoning. Waitress annoying, Table of men dressed as women, had children with me. Kids don't need to be exposed to that.

No prices on menu board. No prices on check or receipt. $ 29.00 for 2 buster platters and 2 choc. Pepsi! That was their special for many years! Smaller burger, tiny Cole slaw, not many onion rings. You don't raise your prices and cut your Servings! We've been a Hall's regular for 6 decades! No more!

Always like the Hall's locations. Consistent across all the restaurants and the menu has a lot of variety and value for the money.

Yesterday, Service was fine, had clam chowder soup/salad....ate clam chowder brought salad home....within couple hours was volatile sick.......food poisoning (my guess). Called this morning spoke with manager, who took name & phone number, stating no one else has called in sick, n your phone is cutting out. Well......since I was not calling in sick.......... HOW about if anyone else ate clam chowder at this location & got ill YOU call in & report this to manager PLEASE!!!!!! Well, I have to ask .....was Google reviews created for "shows"????, returned here asked for manager, explained experience, asked if I bring my receipt in, if the restaurant would refund the money for my dinner, not my entire bill, just my meal. Lady spoke with who said she was a manager, No they would not. Think I will spend what I spend elsewhere, used to really enjoy the buster platter..........oh well.
