Don Blanc

Excellent food, excellent service. All I'm looking for in my restaurants.

양 엄청 많고 맛있음. 반찬도 맛있고 직원들 친절함. 콤보메뉴, 해물파전 맛있음. 김치찌개가 진짜 맛있음.

Cute little place with a small parking lot in front. We were there early and there was no wait. Great quantity and quality of meat with those combos. Delicious side dishes! They will cook the meat for you! My favorites were the pumpkin and the jew meat. 3/2/2024 they just changed to a new owner. But I am thankful that the quality of meat did not drop a bit. Just a change of menu. Food is still very delicious. Loved the beef tartare and kimchi pancake. Parking: Small parking lot or street parking or meter parking

HUGE portions and quiet ambiance. The restaurant is usually moderately empty (at least every time I have been there) so service is quite fast. I know Don Blanc does not have the trendy/hip factor that Oghane provides, but I have always had a great time dining in. Restaurant layout is very standard Korean BBQ - with large tables and grills in the middle. Some of the tables have a large cast iron grill that's reminiscent of cooking on a large rock, which is kind of fun. We always get either the Beef Set A bbq or the Pork Set B bbq, so cannot speak to the other menu items. The side dishes (banchan) that role out are so delightful--particularly the steamed egg (reminds me of my mom's cooking). As far as quantity of meat--you will not be disappointed. I have always returned home with leftovers. Eventually I will order the traditional bbq intestines, but I have not had to courage to do so yet... Parking can be quite tricky especially on weekends because everyone is fighting to get a spot for either Moo Bong Ri/Koryo Sushi/Jaguar Karaoke. I appreciate the security guard who works there because he sometimes provides valet-esque type services and allows people to double park cars or park unmarked areas. I have also always been able to find street parking. Overall, if you ride up to Moo Bong Ri and find that the wait time is just too long and you are just too hungry, I suggest you pop over to Don Blanc. You will not be disappointed.

We got beef set B. We were a party of 3 and in my opinion, the set is perfect for 2 people. All in all, the food is tasty. The fermented bean soup was one of the best I have had so far. The service is great as well. Great experience but probably will not go back just because there are other places that offer better value.

An excellent Korean BBQ spot!

Food was okay but over priced, and they auto charged 18% service fee for a group of 5 without specifying. I called to revoke the duplicated tip on the bill, they told me they will remove the tip but I still got billed for it. Not a honest business.
