Domino's Pizza

Ordered take out today and the presentation was not good as last time and pizza was undercooked (too soft lacked crisp), therefore I am deducting 1 star at this time. Still a good deal for 6.99 though. Previous 5- star review Idk why the rating for this Domino’s is a 4.1. We came here on a Monday night and did the 2 for 6.99 each deal. Wait time was 25min which was fine. Pizza was delicious and looked good to me, I thought they did a good job with the toppings. Service was good as well and the shop was clean. A lot of the reviews complain about wait time, but it’s not nice to stress out the staff. Order ahead if you’re ordering on a busy day/ night or order on a not so busy day/ night if you’re really that impatient of a person.

Not gonna lie, I'm not usually a Domino's fan, but the Alameda spot changed my mind. Ordered on a whim and wow, pizza was hot, ready, and loaded with toppings - the meat lovers would be proud. Everything was just spot on this time around. Gotta give credit where it's due, they nailed it. Solid 4 stars for impressing a skeptic!

Very bad customer service

I had to wait a total of 2.5 hours to get 1 medium pizza and a pasta. The restaurant is less than 5 miles away. I put in my order, and after an hour of not getting ANY updates, I called to check. They said they were swamped and it would take another half hour, did I want to cancel? I said no, I’d wait. 5 minutes later, I got a a notification saying my order was canceled. I called to ask why, they said they didn’t know, and that now my wait time would be 45-60 minutes. 70 go by, again NO updates, I call again to cancel. As soon as my call goes through, I see them changing the status AS they asked to me and told me it had already left, well would soon, I think they just left with it, but I don’t think they charged you after the mishap. At this point, it’s not even worth it the money. Clearly it’s being terribly managed, especially since this is not the first time. I figured it was just a one off before but clearly not. Do NOT plan your meals around this place, you’ll end up with your lunch arriving for dinner.

Ordered a late night salami and mushroom. It was just mushy and bad. Gross! Update: I called the next day and the manager apologized and gave me a credit for a new pizza. She also said that crispy pizzas are a thing for them. She will look at retraining the young late night staff. I get it. Thanks Dominos.
