The Caesar salad was cool and crispy with plenty of shaved parmigiana and a generous basket of soft delicious golden rolls. These were about the size and shape of golf balls, brushed with butter maybe and sprinkled with garlic powder. They came with a little bowl of their rich, thick marinara sauce. I am not really big on dunking my bread but I do love a good sauce, and it tasted great, so I’m sure I would love it on pasta or maybe heaped on a meatball sub? I chose the Chicken San Marco entree. Actually I came back for it specifically. It consists of two flattened breaded chicken breasts cooked and crisped just right, covered with melted cheese and little broccolis that give it another crispy fresh feel, and some sun dried tomatoes that really punch up the flavor. I’m sure there are things I’m leaving out. Oh yeah! They put all this deliciousness on top of a generous serving of perfect fettuccine Alfredo. I asked when I ordered, if I had a choice of more sauce and less pasta, and they certainly delivered. He totally “Sauced me up” …his words…still, it was lots of pasta. The waiter treated me as if he might be the owner, or maybe like I was a guest in his home. He is not, but the care is appreciated. Great lunch. I understand why this restaurant gets good reviews.
