Nothing crazy fancy, nice spot for a quick cup of joe or smoothie in case you get dehydrated while hanging around Delores Park.
You would think this place would just be coasting on its location, but the food is actually pretty good. Awesome patio and window seating with views of the park, usually crowded and a good vibe.
The definition of mediocrity - the food is incredibly bland and forgettable at best (at least you WISH you could forget spending ~$25 on a coffee and sandwich here). The only reason Dolores Park Cafe exists is due to its proximity to Dolores Park & its ability to prey on unknowing tourists. Go to Bandit next door and get an infinitely better meal & support a small business that is worthy of representing SF’s incredible food scene.
Super sweet spot. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The Buddha bowl was delicious too.
No whoopie pies as advertised.
