love this place! have your hotdog any way you want! nifty little place for a quick lunch
Good food and small store make it always crowded. But good food makes it always worth the crowd. Dietary restrictions: Gluten and meat free options for most items on menu.
If you are in Rochester. It's a must to try.
I went with a Junkyard Plate and did a Cheeseburger and a Zweigle's White. The home fries were nice and crispy but it was lacking meat sauce which makes or breaks a garbage plate in my opinion. It was edible without a doubt. It can be very congested inside on the weekends just as a fair warning. I would go back again. My Dave Portnoy score is a 7.2. Parking: Get in the lot if you can otherwise you'll have to utilize street parking. If it's busy on a nice day odds are you'll have to park on the side street.
This place deserves five stars hands down. Dogtown was such an amazing fun experience especially for three people visiting New York. Even if you're a local or you're from out of town the dog plates did not disappoint so much great food the home style fries were just crisp and hot and fresh this place was delicious beyond belief. Parking: Just easy to park I was grateful for that cuz a lot of places in the downtown area you got to pay. Kid-friendliness: There wasn't really a lot for my kid to do but the staff and the cooks did not care that my son was a turkey so that made a place more enjoyable.
Foods always good. Came here a Saturday afternoon to grab 4 garbage plates and waited outside for an hour and 45 minutes. Will not come back simply for the wait and no courtesy of knowledge on this ahead of time.
If you don't think you want a hot dog, go here. Get a hot dog.
