Pleasantly surprised by this Bar that serves food. They are known for the beers but the food is not bad at all. What really killed me was how well the service ran. We had been seated for just under 5 minutes when the server from the next section came to check on us. Our server took over from there and was excellent. Never had to look around for her... or wonder where things were. Everything from the kitchen to the bar was speedy and correct. I have not been there in years... but thinking I should correct that. The garlic in the Caesar is a little over powering... but everything else at our 8 top was spot on.
A classic brewery pub. Beers are great, nachos are the best, staff is attentive and consistent, and the specials are terrific.
Food is good here with a good variety, but too many IPA type beers for my liking.
Great selections of foods and beer. Everything always came out great. Staffs are great and prices are right
Whoever created reuben egg rolls is a Genius! Wow! Phenomenal! I cant lie everything on their menu is delicious. Ive never had a bad experience here ever. Please try their steak salad, never disappoints. The flavor in their meat keeps me coming back. These people know what they are doing. Hands down the best restaurant in Gaithersburg area in my opinion.
I do not know anything about them. I haveseen the sign, but never entered. I rated 5 star not to put them down. Google asked me to rate and I did.
Many restaurants come and go, but this is still favorite place in Gaithersburg. Of course the beers pack a punch and are really unique, but the food is great. Canary for one pizza is the best, their crab cakes are legit, and their bread pudding is wonderful.
Dogfish Head Alehouse, an American-style restaurant, impressed us with its generous portions and a welcoming atmosphere perfect for family and friends. The dishes are notably large, making it an excellent spot for sharing and sampling a variety of flavors from their menu. We started with appetizers, indulging in pretzels and nachos, which set a high bar for what was to come. For our main courses, I opted for the shrimp salad, my daughter chose the steak sandwich, and my husband went for a turkey sandwich. Joining us, our friends ordered fish and chips, macaroni and cheese, biscuits, and a cheese stick sandwich. Each dish was well-received, highlighting the quality and taste Dogfish Head Alehouse is known for. While we thoroughly enjoyed the food, we did notice that some items, especially the fries, were a bit on the oily side. Despite this, our overall experience was positive, and we found the Alehouse to be a great choice for anyone looking for hearty, flavorful meals in a friendly setting.
