Doc's Seafood Shack & Oyster Bar

Ok food in a super busy restaurant. I ordered the grilled fish which was three slabs of uniformly shaped filets. Obviously frozen fish not fresh caught. Fried shrimp was tasty, but not local shrimp. Hush puppies were yummy. Will not go again due to frozen fish and not local shrimp. Server forgot our drinks until we tagged him when he served our plates.

We drive 1 hour to go here. Have been a few times. Has always been amazing.

Restaurante de mar y frecuentado por habitantes de la ciudad y muy pocos turistas y de verdad se come muy rico ,todo muy fresco , el pescado un sabor exquisito. Lugar sencillo y personal muy agradable y atento

My husband ordered a lunch special (fried fish) I ordered fried scrimp and the kid (4yo & 1 yo) ate fried scrimp / fried chicken. We all LOVED the food. We are not big sea food people and are not from the south but we would definitely come again! The portions are huge! Price was a little higher than I expected but they honored a military discount which was awesome. Friendly staff and quick service. I didn’t see it on the menu but as we left we saw an offer for an appetizer special I would definitely recommend trying that special for only $15!

Great food!!

This place truly has the best shrimp I've ever had. The crab and crab cakes were superb, as were the rum drinks. Nothing was even remotely bad!!
