Doar Bros.

Me and my husband recently stopped in at Doar brother's while exploring downtown Charleston. We sit at the bar, the atmosphere inside was very relaxing and almost romanatic with dim candle lights and soft music. The hostess, who was also the bartender, was very welcoming, informative, and very pleasant and fun to talk with. She was very good at her craft, a drink artist, all of our drinks were as beautiful as they were delicious. Out of all the bars we had drinks at in downtown, it was our favorite for vibe and drink quality, especially for the price point. We even came back at the end of the night to have another round of drinks before heading back to our room, this time we had a male bartender and he was equally as good at his job and pleasant as his female counterpart. We had a very pleasant experience and will definitely stop in again while in charleston!

Didn’t have the food but my wife and I each enjoyed 2 of the best cocktails we’ve ever had. We watched Adam Doar, co-owner, masterfully managing the many folks who stepped in hoping to get a seat in this limited space gem.

The best dish we had in Charleston is here. You must have the Brown Butter Popcorn. It’s better than anything I’ve had in Charleston. Then, add in that their bourbon selection is well-priced and impressive and this is truly a gem. Wow.
