Food is amazing ! its rare to find a good Haitian restaurant that I like especially when I am Haitian. But this spot checks all my boxes, from food, music, and drinks.

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE FOOD PHOTOS POSTED ON THEIR WEBSITE! I was amazingly surprised by how our appetizers and entrées came out of the kitchen. COLD! COLD! COLD! This establishment has the audacity to advertise that they serve "Exquisite Cuisine." This was completely unacceptable, especially from a Haitian restaurant! Everything we ordered was bland, no flavor, and far removed from authentic Haitian food. I am Haitian myself, and I promise you my grandparents were turning over in their grave as I consumed some of this garbage. What exacerbated this horrible dining experience was when the manager himself served my family and I this so-called "Exquisite Cuisine," knowing that he himself would not have consumed this garbage. It was only after I complained that he acknowledged what a disaster this was for my family and I. The manager went on to further explain that he was "Managing" the restaurant across the street as well and was short of staff. UNACCEPTABLE! After returning a few menu items that were served cold, my daughter was so turned off that she refused to order anything else from the menu. SHAME ON YOU, Djon Djon Restaurant! The only bright light from our dining experience came from our server Shanequa. Her disciplined and exemplary customer service prevented me from blowing my top off, as she apologized profusely throughout the entire dining experience. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND INCUR AN UNNECESSARY EXPENSE! CONSUMER BEWARE!

I had an impromptu dinner with my family and we were lucky to find this restaurant open on a Monday night .. the atmosphere was great and the food was delicious… I had there version of a Rasta pasta and it was sooo good season nicely with a little kick.. the fried goat was tender and also a lil kick. Mac gratin was nice and cheesy!! Just great food.. I’m from the Caribbean so I appreciate some seasoned food and don’t mind the spice. the staff was also very friendly and polite.. great addition to the neighborhood
