My 17 year old and I went in for some craft time. I don't consider myself artistic but learned long ago that crafting is for FUN and not perfection. We chose to make leather luggage tags. It took about two hours and was really fun and relaxing.
An expensive poorly run elementary school art class. The project instructions are terrible, and they’re all for things you’ll end up throwing away anyway. The staff bumbles around ineffectually. There are no video tutorials, just laminated sheets that were seemingly written by someone who has never given instructions on anything. The beer is mid. This is not a place if you want conversation, the music and hair dryers make it impossible. Contender for the biggest waste of time and money in Portland. Did I mention it’s expensive?
Had a wonderful experience and will be back again. Stevie was knowledgeable and incredibly helpful! Great enviorment
Soooooo glad we decided to check this place out! We went in a group of three and did two of the Succulent Pots and a leather Flask Holder! Super impressed with the quality of all the tools, variety of craft options, the two FREE drink tickets per person, and the helpfulness and knowledge of Molly who had allllll the tips and tricks for us when we (I mostly) needed support! Will definitely be returning- ambiance was great, playlist seemed catered just to us, and everyone was so friendly! Really recommend planning like fifteen minutes to find parking lol unless you’re really lucky!
Such a fun place for a date night or party. Will definitely go back!
My husband and I had a great time. The staff was the perfect level of helpful but also leaving you alone to get that creativity going!
Such a good time, loved the environment, staff, and offerings Parking: Ample
We reserved a space for my friend’s bachelorette party and everyone had such a great time! We appreciated that everyone could choose their own project and work at their own comfort level. +++ for the staff that helped guide the process. Everyone left with a memory and tangible that we can keep for a lifetime.
DIY BAR is a great place for experienced and new crafters! A relaxed environment, enjoyable music and good drink options (larger selection than I expected). Milly and Adam were helpful and walked us through the process as first timers and checked in if we had any questions throughout. We will definitely be going back!!
