Dive Bar Austin

the bartender was a complete a-hole who denied me service when all I asked for was water. there was no sign stating nobody under 21 could enter the building. he could have respectfully told us but instead had the worst attitude as if we had asked for alcohol.

We were visiting Austin for a concert and found this little gem. The staff treated us like family, and the locals were as friendly as you could hope for. We visited Dive Bar 3 out of the 5 days we were in Austin. They don't serve food, but Belle and Bella will encourage you to order it in! Wonderful experience and an easy recommendation!

Smallest $13 old fashioned I’ve ever purchased but it tasted good, great playlist, and great vibes.

This is an outstanding bar and restaurant that everyone should visit when they are in Austin. My wife booked it as a last minute dinner after SXSW and we were amazed by the both food and the service. The ceviche was one of the best we have ever tasted, and the Chicken Entree was excellent. The mocktails were brilliant - we both had one based on Lyre's London Spirit, which tasted like real gin, but better. Best of all, our waiter, Jordan, was the perfect host and delivered just the right dose of Southern hospitality to make this a very memorable evening. Highly recommended!
