Ahhhhmaaazing. From the door to everything. The service is amazing. Had special drinks from the manager for my birthday! I thought I've had perfect hotpot and here is another level! Japanese Shabu shabu hotpot in town. I've been to Japan...everything in this restaurant has been thought of meticulously! Special mention to Bradley our server and manager Toni and the front desk person who was graceful to change to our preferred table! The room, the lighting, the design! The food especially the duck---candle wax made out of duck fat! The experience is so unique and so worth it! To die for!

First time in. Food was great! There's a lot of it so make to come super hungry. Our waiter, Bradley, was wonderful- very friendly and helpful and make great suggestions! Highly recommend

Shannon and Tony were amazing and so knowledgeable on menu items. Food was great. This is a nice intimate dining experience. Vibes were high and 10 extra points for the Rufus du sol playlist. Definitely try it out at least once

Honestly the best place I've been in Austin. Our favorite used to be Qi Austin but this place is on another level. The staff, are SO friendly. We went there for valentines and again tonight, and they knew us! They were all so happy to help with anything we wanted and it was just awesome. Besides the staff being awesome, the food is top tier. The swordfish tonight was SO good! I mean everything was good and everything stood out compared to other hotpot places we went. The bone marrow dip.. omg. Me and my partner are definitely going to frequent this place and bring friends here. I cannot recommend this place enough. Other positives, the atmosphere is very chill, dress up, don't dress up, its all good. I wish I asked her name but the lady in the red outfit actually made our night both times we went! If you are in Austin, please visit this place and support them! I cannot recommend them enough!

We tried dipdipdip for the first time on Valentines and had a lot of fun! The atmosphere was nice and everyone was friendly. Everyone who stopped by our table was very helpful and made sure we weren't lost or confused. They explained the menu and walked us through how to approach each course with tips on best pairings. We tried the omakase and all of the food was great! We would recommend and come back again.

Before Covid, I went to DipDip almost monthly. Then Covid hit and things hit a lull. I’ve only been back a couple of times since Covid with friends. This past time though, I told myself I need more DipDip! All the wonderful delicious memories came rushing back. From the service to the broth to the drinks, everything is top notch. The broth is the base of everything. I typically choose the basic Tonkatsu. But if you like Smoky, go with the Smokey broth. It has a bit more flavor. The broths are pretty bland when they come out but they’re meant to be like that. They will get their flavor from all the cooking that you do in the broth. The only disappointing thing is that they got rid of the cool fancy food cart. They changed it in a Japanese whiskey and sake cart. It’s nice to learn about the alcohol but I really do miss the beautiful presentation of the seafood offerings and the noodles on the cart.

I didn't realize that I'd be sitting closer to strangers than my date, you can literally hear everyone's conversation clear as day and there is zero privacy or intimacy here. The food is ok, but for the prices charged it feels like a ripoff having to cook it yourself. Staff was fantastic however.
