Waited too long for the spaghetti for my brother but the service’s fine
The food is really good. The service? Horrendous and some of the worst I’ve ever experienced. Do not bother with this place if you want to eat in. The food, again, delicious. Get it to go.
The best Italian I have eaten in Denver is BY FAR! The chefs, Spencer & Peter, are culinary geniuses & their recipes will have you saying "¡Dio Mio!" or "MY GOD! This Pasta is good."! On my most recent visit, the highlights for me included the pork tenderloin, lasagna, & truffle butter that was served with the focaccia bread but honestly...ranking these dishes is nearly impossible, they are all insanely delicious.
What a gem! We arrived on a Monday evening (7:30PM ish) and was quoted a 30 min wait, but was seated no more than 15 mins later! This is definitely the best dining experience I’ve had in Denver. Coming from the east coast, I haven’t found an Italian spot that I loved until Dio Mio. From the handmade pasta to the service that makes you feel like family, I can’t recommend this place enough. Everything was thoughtfully made and plated. Of the many dishes, the lasagna, squid ink pasta, & pork stole the show for us. Overall, you can’t go wrong here. We will definitely be back!
Best pasta dishes and homemade bread. Their happy hour specials and new menu are also really amazing! Dietary restrictions: The offer gluten free pasta
Title: A Spectacular Dining Experience at Dio Mio I recently traveled from Houston to experience the remodel at Dio Mio, and I must say, it was a journey worth every mile. The revamped space is nothing short of perfection, brilliantly utilizing every corner to complement the dynamic atmosphere of Dio. Luck was on my side as I secured the exact seat I desired on a full moon night, after a brief wait of just an hour and a half. But let me assure you, every minute of anticipation was justified. The food, the staff, the drinks – all worth the wait. I effortlessly immersed myself in the local entertainment while eagerly awaiting my meal. Upon being seated, the hostess adeptly explained the service flow, setting the stage for an impeccable dining experience. Chef Peter, along with his team, extended a warm welcome, further enhancing the sense of hospitality. I indulged in an array of delights, from savory cannolis to the delightful potato chips and prosciutto stack, followed by the exquisite agnolotti and succulent pork tenderloin. Dessert was a heavenly affair, with the canolis stealing the spotlight, accompanied by decadent chocolate pudding and a congratulatory cake, symbolizing my graduation from real estate school. The staff’s attention to detail and dedication to making my celebration truly special left an indelible mark on my heart. Dio Mio holds a cherished place in my culinary journey, and I eagerly await the future endeavors of this remarkable establishment. Keep up the exceptional work!
