Not worth the prices and services standard or beyond lower that expectations. Don't go way more options out there

Idk what everyone's problem is that's leaving reviews, but this is one of the best vegan food options in Atlanta and the street corn is a religious experience for real.

3 people in the kitchen with masks down. Like if you don't care who lives or dies, if you don't respect Scientific consensus, which is where we get our HEALTH AND SAFETY laws, then you shouldn't be around anyone's food or beverages. Vegan food is too cheap and easy to make at home. I couldn't even miss Philly enough to try theirs. no thanks, dinkheads.

My first time ordering Dinkies. My original intention was takeout, and I ordered from the internet menu on the website. I paid at the bar and noticed I was automatically charged 20% service fee for my to-go order, so I said if I'm paying same service fee as eating in, then I will eat here. I sat at a table. My food came out in a to-go container, so I said I kind of expected to get my food on a plate since I'm eating in. Shortly thereafter, I received it plated: 3 generously portioned vegan " jerk chicken" tacos with salsa and vegan sour cream, topped with guacamole. The food exceeded my expectations- very delicious, great sauce. But tots did not come out. So I asked a waitress who said tacos did not come with tots, but she'd check for me. 10-15 min later, she never came back, so went to the bar and asked, showing him the website menu which shows it comes with tots. He said it didn't come with tots, if you eat in, whatever that means. I said never mind the tots, but maybe you should fix the menu to be clear. Summary: great food but service disorganized- apparently they charge automatic 20% service on to-go orders, which I find excessive--I'd be willing to pay 10%. Unfortunately, overall experience was disappointing, despite good food. Not sure if I'd want to return to try Bar Vegan after this.

Their food is great! ...if you can get it. The first time I ordered from them, I had to wait 45 mins for a take out order, ordered in store. The second time, I ordered through door dash and it took 2 hours. The 3rd time I showed up, and I know for a fact they weren't looking at Door dash orders, cause when the host came back and told me it was gonna be 10 mins, I suddenly got all the updates. Ended up waiting 40 more minutes.

Food is not what I expected it to be. Even the waitress stated that they had issues that day with the food...having many complaints about how bad it was and how bad it was cooked. Don't think that should be happening for a staple like these two combined entities. Oh yeah, come on with these exorbitant prices and minuscule portions. Just gotta do better before this place won't be around for long at this location. Very surprised that this place wasn't as crowded as one would think given this time of day on the weekend and a nice sunny day. This is typically a sign of nasty food and/or bad service. Which btw, the young lady that served us need to be re-trained immediately!!!
