This place hasn’t changed one bit since I went here as a kid 30 years ago and that is a good thing. Although the age of this restaurant can be seen in the building, it is high up on my list for great Chinese food. Service is excellent and cleanliness is obviously prioritized here.
At one time this was a good restaurant, but not anymore the food wasn't good.
Great food and place. Excellent service
01/24 i was told waitress was leaving her shift ended. i had to pay around 7pm however waitress stayed continuing to wait tables. 1st time coming to Ding Dong. Very delicious food so I decided to just forget what happened. Paid two meals about $28 a piece with tea. Shrimp toast , shrimp with lobster sauce and lemon chicken very good 01/25 5:45pm I ordered again and told I had to pay right away waitress apologized that this rude. Supervisor came out said her manager is accusing me of not paying my tab in the past. Yesterday was my first day eating at ding dong. I am 1st lieutenant Richard Reagan and I served my country EMT federal LE and this is absolutely unacceptable. I never walked out on a tab ever. They are accusing the wrong person.
Food was fair to good but served on cold plates therefore the food wss luke warm,. I ordered an item off the lunch menu and for beverage i asked for hot water not with tea bag and was charged $.75 when iced tea was included in the lunch menu. I am 85 yrs old and never anywhere in any location in any state have I ever been charged for a cup of hot water. There was nothing on the menu referring to there being an extra charge. If that's the policy, the waitress should have said so when i placed my order. The manager was 200% unsympathetic or helpful.
