Diner Bar

This is my first time in this restaurant and I am very impressed! Food is delicious, service is great and the place is clean and beautiful. Rosa the manager is the soul of this restaurant! She is super friendly and nice. Her drinks are amazing!

The service is terrible. Unprofessional stuff. They overcharge their guests.

I am 34 years old I have always gone to TOWER DINER ever since I was 13 and I was sadden to go and see it closed about a year ago.I thought of giving this place a try even though they have a menu for tower I'll have to say it's not the same.I am afroamerican latina and I feel like the elderly male who receives you was not too nice to us.The waiters as usual are very nice I noticed they are from tower . The looks we were given by the elderly Caucasian male made me feel Self-consciousness.The vibe is not welcoming as it was in tower diner.Also, the guy at the bar is the one who seats you but my husband and I was not acknowledged by the guy.The waiters did acknowledged me and welcomed me aftee standing for 5 mins.The elderly guy made a drink and one young lady at another table complained about the drink they made another one and brought the one they didn't like back and the elderly male was arguing with the waiters.I feel like the waiters are stressed while at tower diner they were at ease and you felt it. All I know is I felt the work environment was hostile.We ordered burgers and coffee.The bacon was recooked it tasted like old oil.They chopped the onions and just threw it in the burger whole portions.Even though I am coming from ridgewood first and last time I'm coming here.

Terrible service, I do not recommend it to anyone. There is no respect for their guests. I used to be a regular customer, but my patience has run out. I will never come back again. First, at the entrance, I was greeted by a completely rude man, then they brought me coffee with spoiled milk, I asked for a remake, the new coffee tasted very burnt and bitter, apparently they use very cheap coffee beans. Then I ordered an omelette and requested ingredient substitutions. Instead of the standard price for the omelette of $16, they charged $34, saying that ingredient substitutions are considered additional. How can ingredient substitutions in an omelette be considered additional when the number of replaced items equaled the original number of ingredients?! The manager also didn't help at all. I don't consider paying $40 for coffee and an omelette with terrible service normal. I don't recommend ruining your mood because of the staff and their mistakes, your nerves are worth more!

ROSA (the manager) is just the worst manager/person i ever met! If you saw a short and blond old lady manager in that Diner please avoid her. She keeps interupting our conversation with our server after we didnt like the drink that our server told us that "Rosa" made. The server knows what he is doing but ROSA cut in and start to talk nonsense. And keeps making us look that we are the one who made a mistake, not liking the drink! The drink was terrible! Rosa dont know how to make drinks and why does a manager make a customers drink??? ROSA pls help the company to keep customers, by NOT talking to the customers! You dont know respect. I will never come back and will never recommend this diner!

Dinerbar is the place to go in Rego Park! Amazing food, especially the braised short rib...feels like home cooking, so much warmth and love in it. I believe this food has these qualities is because of the amazing manager and waiters. Rosa, who manages the place, is so kind and loving. She is the reason why I keep coming back every week, sometimes 2x/week! I always look forward to her company and conversation. I highly recommend this place. A must go if you live in Queens and want exceptional service and food.
