Really great authentic Chinese food, amazing staff and a great atmosphere! Can't say enough good things about Dine & Dim - whether you order in or dine in! It's one of our regular spots that just can't be beat!

A really, really disappointing visit. RIP Pearl Court. If you've ever been a patron of Pearl Court, you'd know that this spot used to be a local institution. Dine & Dim is nowhere near the standards left by its predecessor. I'd even go so far as to say that it's probably the worst dim sum in the city. The prices were pretty rough at an average of 7 bucks a dish on par with Rol San. We ordered two items. The Fried Wontons and Zhailang (Fried Dough Rice Noodle Rolls) (both pictured). The deep dried wontons were alright which afforded the review the star but the Zhailang were terrible. Firstly, they came out nearly 30 minutes after ordering and landed cold. Secondly, they were served without any sesame paste or sesame seeds (an expected dressing). When we asked the male waiter if we could have some, he very curtly answered "We don't serve that here. We've never served that dish with sesame here. People have allergies, don't you know? So we don't serve it." If that's the case, why serve shrimp? Why serve shellfish? Why serve peanuts? A simple "No we're out" would have been less disingenuous. A bizarre restaurant with bizarre vibes. Bizarre how it's still in business. Stay clear. Trust me or the countless other reviews saying the same.

Great spot for classic Cantonese dishes, as well as Chinese-Canadian fare. Located in East Chinatown, the food is delicious and fresh. The sweet and sour pork and Yangzhou fried rice were amazing

I visited this place quite a few times. The food is good, it comes out super fast and it has plenty of flavour, but the service from this older lady is absolutely AWFUL. This is my 3rd bad experience with her. One time she refused to give us water because they were about to close, today she got super upset that I told her that they shouldn’t charge for the tea without asking if we even want it first. She had a horrible attitude and started speaking angrily in her language with her co-workers right in front of my face after our argument. They also ignore you completely as soon as you get the food. The rest of the staff is nice.

So delicious, such a gem in the East end! Definitely go with friends so you can order even more to enjoy. Will be going back!

The former Pearl Court restaurant now Dine & Dim is a fantastic spot for authentic Chinese food. There is so much to choose from, but many favourites make it hard to pick a reasonable amount of dishes. Two of my younger boys attended D&D with me for their first time and continually ask "when we were going back?"
