Always perfection no matter what location you go to. Order garlic green beans, Xiao long boa (soup dumplings), spicy pork dumplings, cucumber appetizer, dan dan noodles, rice cakes, and the chocolate dumplings. Those are always our favorites.

Nice and busy place. I would recommend spicy wonton and vegetable noodle with spicy sauce. However, not 100% sure about the dumplings. I’ve been Din Tai Fung in three different countries and always enjoyed their dumplings. But, Seattle branch’s dumplings weren’t quite up there. (I had kurobuta xiaolong bao and for some reason, the meat was quite smelly.) One of my companies was a vegetarian and the restaurant had good numbers of vegetarian options, which we found it to be pleasant. The restaurant was busy and crowded. As a result, we found it to be quite hard to have a conversation. However, the server was nice attentive.

Ordered 4 dishes. XLB pork (4/5), garlic bok Choi (2/5), hot and sour soup (3/5), and chicken fried rice (never came out). Waiter says this restaurant was more "family style". I completely disagree. This has every bit of dim sum written all over it. From marking an order off an order sheet to the way the food was delivered. The cost for each dish was 3x more than what a china town dim sum restaurant would charge and taste the exact same if not better... A Chinese restaurant should send out their dishes in sequence to pair well with complementary dishes. The soup served first was correct. However, the bok Choi was served after by itself and not with rice or the XLB. At a dimsum restaurant the pairings would compliment each other. This place was terrible. Never got the rice. The waiter offered to remove it from the order and serve it free of charge though. A great redemption, but we declined. Overall, I would go to a china town restaurant and spend way less money for the same experience. This place justifies the price of their dishes because it looks more hip and modern compared to your normal run-of-the-mill Chinese restaurant.

We love Din Tai Fung, their food is always solid. What we loved about this location was that there was no wait on a Thursday night. We got our usual and a few plates new to us. Our usuals are the beef braised noodle soup, the wonton in spicy sauce, and the chicken fried rice, and wok noodles. We tried the soy noodle appetizer which had a yummy texture (thin tofu noodles) with sesame oil. There's paid dedicated parking under the building.
