Amazing dumplings! Can’t wait to try the other things!

My new favorite dim sum spot. Counter service. Best chili paste you can find. Good sui mai, good buns. I always order sticky rice in lotus leaf.

I loved these deep-fried meaty dim sum as a kid. Been craving them big-time lately. I got some from Clement Street and they were horrible- virtually no filling whatsoever, which completely ruins the experience. These were equally as bad if not worse- 90% dough at least. Tremendously disappointing. Now I have a stomachache, and they were eaten fresh. Two of them I just tried to rip off the excess greasy oil-dough and had two minuscule bites of flavor. If there was actually filling inside, these would have been your standard, tasty deep-fried meat balls. Instead it was pure unadulterated disappointment.

Went there to purchase a Bao Pao with custard and coconut, and a sesame ball. All super delicious, so I purchased two bags of Bao Pao bags: custard and BBQ pork. Superfriendly employee let us taste and gave advice. Parking: In Balboa Street and side streets.

The food is bomb and for $30 we got so much food. We got cilantro dumpling, chive dumpling, shrimp dumplings, siu mai, and pineapple pork bun with green onion and a HK milk tea. Everything was great, the skin that wraps the dumplings were just the right texture, never had a pineapple pork bun with green onion as well but it’s good and adds some savory to the sweet!

I enjoy going to this place whenever I'm around the Balboa Theater area for a quick and delicious bite to eat! We also took some of the foods home for dinner and they still tasted good after reheating them in our bamboo steamer. We had them with the house chili oil that they sell in jars. They have all the dim sum favorites and dumplings and buns that are frozen too. I like the chiu chow dumplings, which you don't see in a lot of places. The interior seating is like many other "bakery" dim sum places which have seats for convenience, but are nothing fancy. These kinds of places are really meant for take or quick eat at the tables. I'm happy to contribute to this business that continues to offer more things, such as the frozen foods and packaged condiments. The staff are friendly and efficient.
