Local place serving Southwestern food but specifically New Mexican style. This hot spot is always crowded. The brunch on the weekends is excellent with many choices. This time I had the Carne Asada Enchiladas. It’s a huge serving that also comes with two eggs, hash browns in 3 types, beans and a freshly made hot n fresh tortilla. Others had the breakfast burrito and the Jalapeño Huevos Rancheros. They also had a Peach Margarita as a drink special which is delicious! Seating is limited and the bar is always full. They call it Dick’s Hideaway for a reason. IYKYK! Parking: There are a limited number of spots in the front and along the side but more parking in the back of the building.
For new Mexico food they are limited. I don't see stuffed sopapillas tewa tacos Christmas breakfast burritos new Mexico style frito pies. I'm from California my wife was from Espanola New Mexico. I feel in love with the food there. I usually go to Gils Taste of Taos located on Bell road. But I will try this place soon.
Such an intimate ambiance with delicious food, wonderful service, and great music. This place is a gem.
