Ordered takeout, it was just awful. Ribs and brisket had no flavor- no smoke, bland seasoning. The sides were worse, if not inedible- fries were poorly seasoned and soggy, fried okra was undercooked yet greasy and soggy and I was not able to eat it. Ordered Texas toast and mistakenly recieved rolls instead that were hard as a rock and not edible. Did not care for the Bbq sauce (spicy bbq) nor did anyone else in my household. Paid for extra pickles and onions but couldn't even eat the skimpy portion I recieved because the pickles were not very good. The only thing I enjoyed was the BBQ baked beans, they were just fine. Price was a bit high ($50 for 3 people) and I will not waste my money here again. Absolutely do not recommend. There are a lot of great places to eat in Newark (especially bbq), don't eat here. Parking: Lot is always crowded, full of potholes & inconvenient

Not a great atmosphere and food was just ok, the meat is kinda bland and the sides are not that great either. Service is good and helpful.

my wings are raw. thought it could just be flats, decided to try the drum and it was the SAME. disgusting. overly seasoned to appear fully cooked.

Ordered this for delivery and this is what i got for $18!!! Pathetic!! Meat dry, cheese so old it was discolored and hard and the sides were tiny, not to mention cold!!

Our first time here. We will be back. Great food. Extremely friendly server. Food came out in a timely manner and was delicious. We got great service and he even took extra time to interact with our 3 year old and make sure she was comfortable and happy!

Friendly atmosphere with good food

Brisket was so fatty could not eat it, returned it they replaced it but it wasn't any better. Server stopped at the twice. Won't go back

Ribs are tough Chicken was chewy Those were specials, maybe fresh is better?!?!?
